For anyone planning a trip to Forster over the holidays, the sailing club is hosting a big regatta so the area is apparently off limits to the public from 27th Dec to 6th Jan

Thanks James. I was actually considering this as an option. Not sure they can deny access to public facilities but I'll stay clear.

Apart from the caf? a bit further south, where else is has easy (2wd) access to wallis lake??

this was at Xmas time, they are hardly there most of the time.
