Just in time for the new season, I have relocated the wind gauge at Gerroa to a position that will give an accurate indication of the wind on Seven Mile Beach
Its now on the point at Black Head, about 20m above the sea.

The weatherstation can be seen at this url, including a webcam overlooking the beach

Hi Aiolus,

what brand and model is your weather station?

I have one where I work that I setup and am interested in them.

i think you need to level the cam, its either leaning 45 on way or the other. Not sure about the 3-19kt wind reading either.. just my opinion

I'm not sure what you mean about 3-19kt wind reading, the highest today was 16kt? Seemed comparable to Point P readings which is 279ft ASL?

Not sure what the readings were for today but I looked at the stills for yesterday and it said 3 kts strongest gust 19. Do you need to download something to look at the live cam?

OK, now I get it .. the stills have the wind readings from the original meter which is in a bad location behind the hill ... the seabreeze graph is now fed from a different meter in a better location.

To see the live cam you need to install a java plug-in, you should see a dropdown box in IE asking you to install it?
