Ok so it's sort of windsurfing related.
I usually paint portraits for other people but got the chance to create a portrait for an exhibition ' Friends ".
My idea came from sailing with Andrew over the years.
We started out both finning but he's gone to windfoiling. He used to annoy me by foiling circles around me when there wasn't enough wind for me to get going..I liked to try and beat his speed when there was.
I didn't have enough time to do a monster size as I have commissions booked in.
The main portrait is a 50 x 60cms canvas which allows me to get a decent sized face with the cropped pose . I figured most people wouldn't have a clue what he was doing so have included the extras ( 30 x 30cms) to give them an insight.
