Go to Tascott for a safe place to sail in a northerly wind. Its onshore there. You could also try the other lake on the other side of Toukley. A northerly would be sort of onshore there too, depending where you launch from.

i am going to try canton , in the bottom half of the bay , a least i know i can go out 200m and still be able to walk it in

Or the park at the end of lake street budgewoi... Shallow out for ages, just depends on how much weed there is nowdays.

nice light NE at Jervis Bay this afternoon, enough for 6.5, shortie suit, beautiful spot - unreal for 1st May, and on the week I happen to be on holiday

Don't worry I wasted 1 1/2hrs yesterday driving down to try & go sailing and 3 -5kts..[}:)] Enthusiasm made common sense go out the window. I KNOW this time of year you never get decent NE..

Got bonus nor-easter here today Was thinking I'll have to wait till Friday for the s-wester, but hit Trial Bay at 11 am plenty of white caps and a decent 10-14 knts off n-e, clear blue sky and fun little waves peeling in. Oh the water was a bit cold- only 24 deg.

Never complain about any wind Billy, you'll get a 4 week lull and be looking forward to anything over 5 knots.

it was still fun , but suck when i got stuck in the middle of the lake ,( 2 hours to paddle in )

man i want some more wind , i am like a drug infested windsurfer and i need my next FIX
