The diggers are at it again down at Botany Bay.

There is a barrier rnn approx 300 meters off the beach north to south at Kyeemagh. It runs pretty much as just past the baths at Brighton.

According to NSW Maritime web site the works will continue until the end of February. There goes sailing NEers for the rest of the summer.

I found that out this morning. I kept driving down to Ramsgate and had a brilliant day anyway

Is this still the case? I am looking for a NE sail this weekend, and I can travel about 40 mins to Kyeemah, or about 90 mins to lake Maq. Trying to decide which way I will go, so what is the status at Kyeemah currently. Can you sail there at all? Maybe North of the safety nets near the runway? How far south do you have to go to get around the maritime works?

Any other suggestions of a good sail location with consistent strong NEs travelling to from Cherrybrook (Hills District/Norwest).

Thanks,

Adrian

I *think* it's clear now. At least it was last weekend. Tim?
