Hi Guys and Girls,

On the back of a highly successful windsurfing clinic in Qld last year. There is a possibility that I can get Matt Pritchard to head back this way. And this time stay a little longer so we can show him around, and run a clinic in NSW or Vic.

This at the moment is by no means confirmed, and i am trying to get a run down on conditions and locations in late november, early december. Ideally, a location that has easy water access, good rigging areas and parking, shelter, toilets etc. and most of all a higher chance of wind in late nov / early dec

What areas suit these requirements?

Sanctuary point / Jarvis bay plenty of facilities and cheap - expensive accommodation. Easy to get to from everywhere.

That depends on how strong your bowels and bladder are. It also depends if you don't mind pissing in the water. Some people say urinating in the water attracts sharks

Sanctuary Point would be a good spot too.

There are many great spots for a clinic in NSW as long as the wind blows. It would be sweet to have a weekend clinic up at Hawkes Nest. Its so beautiful up there. Last weekend the conditions were to die for, fantastic seabreeze, wonderful scenery and magnificent water conditions.

Now thats a bit far for a toilet

Jokes aside - Sanctuary Point would be great spot for a flatwater clinic.
Shallow water - reliable wind (more so than Sydney)- less jet ski's
Pretty much meets the original post criteria
But you may attract less punters.

I think if it was promoted properly as a weekend or more away and there was enough time given to prepare, it could be great to run a clinic like this out of Sydney. Either up or down the coast somewhere like Hawkes Nest or Sanctuary Point.

The way we ran the clinic in Qld last year was a three day weekend. So a get away weekend could work. In a normal season - whats the chance of getting some breeze during late nov early dec?? Mind you we had terrible conditions, so a lot of land training was done, and all participants were stoked at what they took home in the way of information.

I'd definately be interested in a clinic.

I've been to Sanctuary Point and nearby areas about 4 years ago in Nov/Dec for two consecutive years. Back then I was not into windsurfing or anything that required wind. Both years I remember it was windy as, and decided not to come back as it was just too windy to be at the beach with a toddler.
