No way would you want to fly a drone at Kyeemagh. You'd probably be locked up in short order.

The main issue using a drone is a crash landing. With an expensive camera onboard and flying over water it could a be pretty expensive exercise.

I've flown a quadcopter a few times and they are quite fun but it would take a fair bit of time to master it.

There is real potential for them though. The videos of quadcopters with cameras are pretty amazing.

Now that is very exciting news. Looking forward to that!

We've been doing some pretty extensive testing with different cameras on quadcopters.
Awesome shots and perspective can be achieved... downside is it is almost impossible to get decent, steady and usable tracking shots when there's more than 12 knots of wind

There's a pretty good chance there will be one buzzing around at 2013 Down Under Pro !
