Is it possible? Double Bay or Rose Bay look possible, but for all the parked boats and lack of obvious parking and rigging area.
I assume an incoming tide is a little safer.

(I'm thinking today.)

I like your thinking!

I'll be sailing North Harbour today if you can be @rsed heading over the bridge. Launching off the Fairlight Baths and then sailing between Reef Beach and the Q Station.

Balmoral. But you have to launch from the western corner of the beach past the rock pool.

D'oh. Wrong side of the bridge.

I've seen a couple sails out there.
A red slalom sail near Manly.
And there was someone on the southern side in Rose Bay with the moths yesterday.

Hmmm, perhaps the aptly named Caledonian Road at Rose Bay?
(My #1 issue with Sydney so far is the parking.)

Double bay is ok, but you have to tack out of the bay...Ok if you have a Formula or Raceboard, but better to drive to Rose Bay. I always launch from the boat ramp at the Woollahra Yacht Club or the beach.
