No wind just yet. At 6am it was raining but that front is now (7:30am) moving out to sea. It's a clear sky behind it which should clear the path for a Seabreeze.
Swell is about 5 foot but there is a bit of wait between good sets. Plenty of people out on the water for an early Sunday morning surf.
Not sure how strong the Seabreeze will be as the models seems to contradict each other. So I am just going with my gut feeling... I would say it will be about 15 knts by lunch time so we should see some sailable conditions.
Remember the the MS Sydney to the Gong Bike Ride fundraiser is on today. You should expect delays on the way down from Sydney. For exact details on where to expect slow downs see the MS web site:
www.gongride.org.au/about/ride-maps.aspLooking ahead it seem we might get a few days of good Nor'Easters toward the next weekend.
Update (10:00 am): Nor'Easter started to blow. It's only light at about 5 knts at the moment but a good sign none the less. Waves have dropped a bit but that could be due to the fact that we currently have high tide.
