I was wondering if there are any gear limitations for foiling in the GPS series. Personally I'm happy to mix it up with the fin guys but I would like be able to use my race gear. The fin guys use race sails and slalom boards so I think it's fair enough that the foil guys can use race gear as well.

Hi Cluffy, If you are referring to the NSW series, there are no limits! We just want everyone to come and join us no matter what floats your boat!

Thanks Boston that's encouraging news. I treated myself to a Sabfoil slalom setup now all I have to do is work up the courage to sail it properly. My two goal for this year are decent foiling gybes and learn some slalom foiling technique. I'm getting there on the gybes but the slalom thing is a bit harder due to the bowel loosening terror involved. Time to dust off the helmet I think.

Sounds like a sweet setup cluffy. Yep, helmet and life jacket are compulsory for the nsw series racing.
