Don't get it. Both BOM and Seabreeze say the top gust at the airport yesterday was 36 knots which caused flight delays? Was that because they had to operate a single East West runway instead of the two North South runways? A bit misleading to say it was because of too much wind if that's the case.

strange how so many flights were cancelled in a fairly standard Sydney strong/gusty westerly.
Weird seeing them land...they come in about a 30 degree angle and straighten up really late.

Bad for the planes but I managed to go a quick sail in at Primbee after the 10 hr drive. Thanks wind, more please ??
