I'll aim to be there. Once there I can check my box of junk in the van and see whether there is a cap fitting for your sail. I hope to leave fairly early, maybe around 8am so will be there a bit after 9am

Any Demerits keen for a sail, it would be great if you can strap on the GPS and post a session so we get a result for April. Canton Beach is a great place to speed sail in a southerly. I've achieved a few PBs there.

! would have come up but unfortunatly got roped into a work appointment at 5.30pm, so wouldn't beenough time to get back.

I'll just have to settle for B&J at Kyeemagh...although its 8am and I don't see any sighns of this big southerly as yet...fingers crossed.

Well worth the drive up there. Met up with Billyboy402 and helped him out a bit. It was good windsurfing overall. The wind was up and down and swung around a bit but the gusts were very solid. I achieved a nautical mile PB, over 26 knots so pleased about that!

well the session at Botany was pretty damn good, nicely powered on my 4.7 and 78L board.

Can't beleive it, the second time I've used the 4.7m in a space of two weeks.

Cripes 8hrs ! You must be getting fit. The graphs were saying 20-30kts..not learner conditions..? How strong was it?

The wind was pretty strong. It was up and down a bit plus it swung around too. So not exactly ideal learner conditions. Yeah Billyboy was doing pretty well. I took a few pictures of the windsurfing late in the day that includes Will sailing, I'll post on this thread later on.

Will, I have a Chinook boom you can have. I got it when I bought a board off eBay for $7. The seller threw the boom in. So next time we meet I'll give it to you. Its sitting under my building, not being used. I think its a bit damaged, from me, but is better than the boom you have for smaller sails.
