Ran into the Rainman on a motorbike ride a few weeks ago on the old Pacific Hwy. at Pie in the Sky (NSW). He was riding his new black Triumph 665 triple. He still is a very good motorbike rider and used to be a B grade road racer years ago. Had a Bultaco.
Yes Ray has retired; he said something about epoxy etc. being "bad" for your long term health.
Good call I say.
Pity, he was good at repairs. John Hall taught him well.
