The first time I spotted that spot on GE I thought it looked fantastic. Now I have seen the photos I reckon it will rival Sandy Point for quality water and wind!

yesterday we only had 25 knots so imagine 35 knots.....i cant wait !!!!
and if we have good rain over winter i think NM length will be well there only need 400m more, last time we were there it was only half the length.

Before we went out sailing, we walked the length of the run to check it out and I took my GPS. The southern most part of my track is where the run turns and heads out to sea. We didn't sail all the way to the end, as the fastest part of the run had alread been had and it only meant further to walk back if you did, but you could quite easily sail to this point (and out to sea!!).

This is around 1.6 km!! The river is quite quickly etching its way south, so I reckon it won't be too long before this becomes a NM run!! Probably jinxed it now, but one can only hope.

OK, more photos. This is where we took off from. You've got just until you hit the other side to get your feet in the straps and harnessed in (quite a bit of time really), then you have to bear off and go for it!! This makes it quite easy to get going, as you're not bearing away straight away.

Izaak heading back over to start another run.

Nice to rig right next to the launch area!!

Johno, is this your flat-tray? They came back and got this ute while we were sailing. Just as well, as when the water came up 20cm, I reckon it would have sunk out of sight as the sand is very soft!!
