Scored big time today, got two mint Jimmy Lewis Mudshark speed boards. Perfect condition considering they were built in 1988. The larger one is one of the first carbon fiber speed boards Jimmy built, 17.5" wide by 9'2" long with really sharp rails. The smaller is 16" by 8'6". Both come with the original speed fins I developed with Curtis back in the 1980's. It was the early days of getting fins to twist and playing with cutouts and ramps.
They were in a Porsche car museum just down the road from my house, the owner passed away so I bought them from the executor. I think I'll try and sail the 16" board, I've got a 1991 Neil Pryde Race sail that should work on it.
30 years ago in Sotavento, last time I rode a Mudshark...can't wait to try it again! Crazy thing is I'm fitter, stronger and lighter than I was then.
