hey there has been no wind but my mate informs us that the swell and surfing conditions is ideal. unfortunatly i turned my surfboard into a lounge room table.

Is it possiable to remove the front footstraps of my 89 litre wave board and attach a leg rope to the back one and use it to surf?
has anyone tried or will i look like a duche if i try?

You'll sand your nipples off with the deck grip

A mate used my JP freeride 84 as a surfboard, and loved it. He was ripping around.

As others mentioned though, the deck grip will sand your nipples and the inside of your arms.

Short wide sailboards have been used to SUP in small surf. if you google around a bit for Ivan Van Vuuren you will see him SUPing waves on a 7'2" Starboard.
