latest issue of windsurfing magazine put a good tip in there.
if its stuck because of sand, get two bricks, and space them around 40cm apart, and put pillows ontop of them. than get your mast and put the middle section between the two bricks, and just step on it so it flexes, but dont step too hard. than rotate, and keep doing it, once you hear the sand cracking, try and twist it apart, an just keep doing untill it comes apart.

there is also another way to do it, if you have two booms, put one boom ontop of the center , and one on the bottom, and get some body help you twist one clock wize and the other anticlockwize

no worries to stop it happening again, i heard if you get dish detergent on it, and just polish it with that for a while, it helps it slip apart, havent done it my self but i over heard some one talking about it

go the 2 boom technique.

I'm thinking that 2 boom technique will be the one, I need another Boom.
Does anyone work in Midland? or live near Forrestfield??

wipe your mast inner and outer with a towl or rag then put duck tape around the joint before rigging ,problem solved

tis all fixed, and very very simple to get apart :)
block on back end to absorb some shock and keep from damaging mast, big hammer to the block, and off pops the top :D
