I would love to spend a week or so of my holidays learning to windsurf with other people. Is there any such thing as windsurf camps/ holidays in Australia???

sandy point sounds great for the next stage but would be keen to get on the board sooner than that!

If you are around Sydney the JP/NP event will be at Botany Bay on the weekend of the 4th and 5th of December. Its not a week but a couple of days is better than nothing.

WA is good in Jan but usually turns to crap in late Feb - so do Jan at Lancelin hire place as per Windy Miller's suggestion, and then whizz over for the week at Sandy Point. Expensive but you'll be sailing good by the end of all that!
