whats this? melbourne has a wind warning for today with no wind in site. i just checked it then and satday is going to be going nuts. the boys at sandy point will be trying to break the record i bet. please please dont blow to strong all i have is a 5.4 wavesail Local Waters Wind Warning
for Western Port and Port Phillip.

It's all happening in Sydney, today and the next few days.

Friday until midnight: Wind: NE 20/30 knots, increasing to 30/40 knots during the evening.Sea: 2 to 3 metres, reaching 4 metres later. Swell: N/NE 1 to 1.5 metres. Rain periods, heavy at times.
Saturday: Wind: Easing to W/NW 15/25 knots early, increasing to 20/30 knots during the afternoon.Sea: 2 to 3 metres. Swell: N/NE 2 to 2.5 metres.
Sunday Outlook: Wind: W/SW increasing to 25/35 knots
Monday Outlook: Wind: S/SW 20/30 knots, easing.

It was happening enough for me to crack the nose on my board after five minutes

Lucky I had a backup board and sailed for 2 hours - 15-20knots

Windy here in Wollongong this arvo. 25-35 kts from 3pm. Pity the swell didn't have a bit more south in it.
