I am experiencing my second bout of this extreme injury caused by 3 hours of windsurfing bumpy water in a 25 knot wind.

What is the injury you ask?

Chaffed knob!

Yes, my fellow commando pant wearers, be warned, constant bouncing of the knob witihn your trunk will cause an uncomfortable rash to develop. Painful yes, temporary, thank goodness.

LMFAO, Well that's one sport you not going to participate in for a few days then A Other than windsurfing of course.
Think Chopper has a quote for ya "Harden the #@#^* up" (maybe not it could be painful)[}:)]

comeone Mineral, this would even bring a tear to chopper's eyes!

Im sure the big tough fella would pat me on the back, and wish me a speedy recovery!

Ah the price you pay for letting the breeze flow thru your shorts!

Less of a problem I would guess as you move south, since cold water causes shrinkage of said appendage.

yes, and when you have to wear a wetsuit year round this is never a problem - apart from the shrinkage that is

md74,

you know what you need to do.. take a stanley knife or potato peeler and remove the little bit of skin at the end.

just like your alpha's hey?

md, if you put a cable tie tightly under the knob then within a day or two it should drop off and relieve you of any painful helmet chafing!

thanks for the tips boys, I was thinking of positioning said knob inside some type of protective plastic sleeve, ie 32mm electrical conduit or similiar, or perhaps wrapping in a sports tape, getting the tape off might hurt a bit though.

Please forward any further advice.

And what exactly is the treatment for your injury? Bedrest, or do you need to have copious quantities of slippery ointment rubbed into the wound.

Suffer!!!!
