Australia - just like America except without the 200 million guns, and the... (list goes on...)

Oh don't get me started.

i think his comments on the gold coast are very accurate. noosa is the same i might add though. even at sun up there can be 50 people out in the lineup.

but that aside.

it's comedy, he hasn't got anything good to say about any of the places he goes, the title gives it away i think.

"overrated" what is he talking about ?

Never seen an ad or too many forums that say: "come surf on the east coast, great waves here, plus it's cheap". He's right about the waves, but it's like me going to Florida and hoping to find waves or a non-geriatric, and then being upset.

Probably used the domain "cranky" because 'selfrighteousprick.com" was taken.

Also like the part in the blog where he said he has a Porsche. Sort of tells us a little more about the guy...

Hah! expensive! He probably came, thinking the US dollar rules the world, and that Oz is going to have an economy comparable to Indonesia.

Our dollar is currently "90 something" US cents, which may have caused an unsuspecting Yank a bit of grief once he got here and had to start shelling out his hard earned.

What did they expect, Gidget does Australia??? ahhaha At least he won't be back, and hopefully none of his non adventurous mates. I agree with the comment about seeing just the tourist parts of Oz, poor buggers missed so much good stuff

Talking about expensive....I spent a few months around Orange County there when AU$1 was US$50c ...

And BTW, the black sand turns water into a very dirty and ugly muck.

I just woke up. Can you tell?
