Might see you out there after that early sail on the river... I'm yet to be convinced that the alley is good in a southerly. Glad to be proven wrong though

Just as an aside, I've been trying for about half an hour to figure out the sunrise and sunset times, as well as tide times. Most places say they're using EST when really I think they're using DST, at least they're GMT + 11 hours which I think is daylight saving time. It's so utterly confusing living on the border here, you think you've gotten it sorted and then something throws you a curve ball and you're off by an hour.

Last friday I went to a club in south Tweed, which is in NSW, event was supposed to start at 7, got there, oh no that particular room of the club runs on QLD time, even though the rest of the club runs on NSW time. AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!

geez nebbian, a guy with your rain man abilities should be able to snap that answer out without much sweat!

mate Ive had a couple of awesome sails at the alley in s/e winds, but I have found it DOES need to be blowing!!

so, if it is crappy there, Ill either head to an open beach, say Miami, or go to the shearwater, at this stage Ill check online in the am, Ill txt you if im going to rig up at currumbin.

Shearwater was awesome, good to see some other sails on the water as well. It was attack of the kites for a bit there!

Hey md74, I'm earning my honourary Chair Police badge now, the wind picked up just as you left

we saw it was picking up, bugger!

great late arvo session nontheless.

Nebbian you have to stop smiling so much when your blasting back and forth, you're going to suck in some wildlife oneday!

Im stoked I rigged up, thanks for the motivation, you know you nearly didnt get on the plane by the green buoy, that was my decision maker, but 20 metres to go you hit the sweet spot!

Always smiling??? I'm always laughing at your big "YEEEHAW" whenever you jump! Did encounter some wildlife though, trod on something that didn't appreciate being trodden on as it twisted away. No idea what it was.

Yes I know, I'm always last on the plane, either too many pies or too small a sail or too cr@p or some other pissweak excuse... I saw the green buoy coming up and had to get on the plane so turned around and planed back, the waves were just pointing the right way to give me that extra oomph!
