don't worry, I'm not batting for the other team - due to the endless lack of wind, and the high chance that january will be just as bad i couldn't tolerate doing nothing.
Although most on this forum don't want to hear this, it's worth giving it a try just for fun because it is really very easy, much easier than it looks (so long as there's wind to keep the kite in the bloody air) and nothing like learning to windsurf (no matter what the shops tell you

). I've had about 4 hours on the kite with dan and chairman, and today i've been body dragging about, can re-launch ok, and i feel ready to ride the board. Dans already on the board going back and forth. You will be shocked at how quickly you'll get to the point that i'm at. the hardest part so far was the initial 20 minute of crapping yer pants because you not sure what the kite's going to do

, but after that it's gravy so long as you do it safely of course. i'm not sure i'd go out in 25+ knots with it though

P.S if you're reading this Paulio, thanks alot for the tips today
