So are you a natural or goofy when you surf????

I've always wondered how I'd go on opposite tack down the line. Only tried it a couple of times but they were fairly onshore, so didn't work very well.

ahhhh so it was you........
i was the kiter with the pink/black kite upwind of you guys....
It was soooooo good had such a blast.

wind was so funky when first went out, but settled in beautifully.

It was really good to be wave kiting natural footed on a cross shore.

Seabreezes are great but would be improved if they came from the North.

I have always wondered if it was a decent place to sail. Does that mean it should be possible on a south westerly??

I think it would be OK on a Seabreeze, probably a bit onshore though for wave riding...

I've sailed Singleton a few times.
If you can get past the rip then you're OK.
But i've only ever tried it in a South Westerly.

Sailed it about 3 years ago on a Xmas seabreeze...REALLY onshore. No way you could go DTL - but plenty of backside fun.

And the break was heaps heavier than scarborough - but that could have just been the day - no 'trench' though, which was nice.

I sail it alot in summer if you think 4.7 go the 5.3 becouse of thestrong rip you can go down the line but you really got 2 open up the clew and hit the pitching lip and it will throw you forward.couple of us sailed it in sumer on a solid half mast day with4.2

To me it seems a great spot in a N/NW though probably better in the NW as North seems to be a it gusty, think the dunes cast a shadow or create turbulence.

The wave at the mo seems great, banks are well formed.

As has been said it is a heavy wave (for a beachie) but when you smack that lip just right ooooooooooo its nirvanic.

Yeah right...
As if Beer Pig has got internet down the beach!!
He's only just worked out how to switch a computer on!

It doesnt bother me if the sets are closing out onto the beach and into the car park. I got Alan's Evo so it doesnt matter....!!!!!

I might leave early today..
