Thanks for the tips guys. I put the new ones on tonight.
In the end i just cut the old ones off (only lost 25mm off the boom length).
The push on half fitted very tight so i have just pushed then on. i did'nt use the glue supplied as they wont budge.
Take it from me.... they will come loose eventually, so don’t throw the glue away

Have done a few NP and Fibrespar changes, that’s why I know they come loose after a while if you don't glue on


When you go to glue just rough sand the ends to about 75% down from end contact surface, mix the glue and slide on the new ends. Make sure you don’t have any glue run out in a lump on the inside, otherwise the tail wont slide in afterwards.
Be careful with the new tangs, they will break if you side load them too much when re-inserting the tail piece, as they are a bit brittle when new
