i was the cameraman with Phillip 2 weeks ago.

he is actually a little bored of jumping now and was just frothing on the fun desert lefts - doing multiple goitres, takas and whatever as part of a 60 second ride down the line.

I asked him to head down to the bomby - which we had a nice view of - and where the jumping is massive - i asked for 3 jumps and thats exactly what i got - no more , no less - with not a drop of water out of place.

He did a nice double over the pole cam too -

He has somehow managed to fuse slalom like reaching technique - with its super upright rig and insane straight line speed - with incredible air control - to create a massive jumping advantage.

Philip's not only set the bar high - but has already influenced alot of the technique of the rest of the pack

From what i saw over here last summer
Ben Proffit wasnt far off his act in the air in 28 knot and head high ramps

yes agree, effortless butter smoothe landings.

I'm sure this one has been shown before on these forums, but still worth another look. Levi Siver wins a backloop contest at Hookipa with a jump of 52.7 feet (16 metres).

^^ and 52ft is bloody high without the backloop part..... nose first landings are fun at descent speeds like that too
Not like gliding down hanging under a teabag...

Thats when Kiting is most dangerous. Imagine if there boardies fell down at that height
