maybe we shouldnt complain about onshore conditions- we just need to get a little better.
so true
i see alot of average sailors hanging in cross off set ups - while the real shredders are busting all over the place in cross on.
I have seen a ton of Euros hanging in the desert when they really need to be down at Gerro learning at least how to do a bottom turn - each their own though..
one guy got upset with me because i waved him onto a wave - we were about 100m out from the contour line where the wave started its run down the point and i could see him stuggling to get upwind
but he didnt have the skills to sail past me in a straight line - i think his back foot was out of the strap - he gave me an earful on the beach - got to love the swiss locals ! I am sure they would appreciate my dodgy ski and snowboard style though.
Both set ups can be amazing fun - dont get pigeonholed into 1 style
