They have done it again: Qantas increases baggage prices. What more, if you plan on a stop over in Dubai on route to Europe they'll hit again for excess.

Given they are already the most expensive airline by far to use for flights to Europe with these new charges I think my days flying Qantas might be over.

That's strange. When I first got the email from them and looked at the page the baggage allowance for international flights from March 31 was totally different.

That said on Qantas Club you used to get 2 bags totalling 46 kilos now you only get 42 kgs. It's not clear though if there is a limit on how many bags you are allowed to have.

yup... that's the problem. it's confusing. For one it looks like they changed the the document since they first posted but more importantly it's missing some details.

EG. it makes no reference of how many bags are allowed but then makes reference to bag numbers in other sections where the excess costs are outlined.

Makes you wonder what genius actually writes these documents.
