Hey guys. Basically i need a job :)

I'm currently a personal trainer and a kitesurf instructor but my partner and I are looking to buy a house and we've got a kid now so I need a more stable, reliable income.

My experience is heavily based in sales. I've done everything from the most horrible - door knocking and telemarketing - to call-centre sales for sgio; from being a membership-consultant at gyms to running my own business for the last couple of years. At the risk of sounding arrogant, I'm incredibly good at what i do. I've won heaps of in-house awards including top sales rep at numerous places.

I will definitely consider something starting at 50k p.a. but looking for more around the 75k mark. Something that would allow time to kite as well would be a massive bonus ;)

I honestly will do any kind of work. I'm a fast learner and fit enough to handle any manual labour.

If you know anyone thats looking for someone pm me or phone 0415260991

Thanks for reading guys, you would really be helping me out. Don't worry, this isn't the only thing I'm doing to try and find a new job :)

i'll give you a sales job...

sell and then execute the concept "lets move back to sunny WA", to the client - my wife.

starting salary will be 2 slabs of your choice (negotiable depending on experience),, with bonus slab + forever in your debt, paid on a lano or gero relocation.

$50K - 75K I guess they will not be offering that much, but Auswind was advertising on here pretty heavily a few weeks ago and had nil applicants?

Any sales job paying over $50K will not leave much time for kiting after looking after the bub and begging the wifey to go kiting???

That's a lot of money with no listed qualifications. I'm a teacher (a dedicated one so the free time for kite surfing would be limited). I stared ten years ago with an arts degree as a teacher assistant in a special school on 23k. It requires no quals and should get you about 30k these days with plenty of free time assuming you don't mind changing nappies, having teenagers throw punches at you and having sanitary pads thrown at you.

More money? Do a 2yr diploma or 1 yr bachelor on top of your current degree (or a 4 yr teaching degree) and you could be a teacher starting on 40-50k but a lot more work and less kite surfing. 5 years into being a teacher my wage is now 57k and should match your desired 75k in only 8 years time (that being the absolute limit to my progression without taking a principal class position).

Clearly I don't have a lot of sympathy for you but mostly I'm jelous because you get to teach people how to kite surf while I have to include daily maths lessons around the fun stuff. On the bright side, I've been offered the job of running the Sailability program for the region next year if I can get my surf Bronze medallion.

Without blowing the wind from your sails, if you want 50-75k in sales of the back of a forum post you'll need to do better than the pitch you posted here. If I were you I'd look at the companies you've worked for previously and show them why they need you in a higher position. Failing that, try builder's labourer positions or something in the mines. Those jobs will bring in the money but will lack the spare time and security you're looking for.

I know I haven't been overly encouraging but I do hope you find what you need. I'm looking to buy my first house with my girlfriend also. It's a huge amount of debt for someone who's never even had a credit card. Good luck mate.

go bush son.
please dont be another of those who say "the boom passed me by" when not prepared to sacrifice the effort to reap it by working out of town.
Its great once you get onto the right place. Good food, good work and your home time is ALL your own.

hey ive been looking into this.. but its hard to find info.. or what you really need to have a fifo job, lots say you have to move bush first then prove your worth then get the fifo but to be honest i cant be away from my kid or my gf for that long i could do the 2-1 but that would be it..
