mast clip for older board

I picked up an older board (Brian Hinde masterclass 335) with a mast base like these below.
Is there any online seller which has the metal clip that can fit it?

Good luck finding one, I hope you got that for free.
Those mast bases proved to be very unreliable, they'd want to come out sometimes when you were sailing.

a clip can be made or use some innovation like in the photo below for a BIC Dufour
you just better have the mast base !!

Pull off the carriage , cut into the bottom a rebate to take a base mast nut. Epoxy it into place. Reassemble, you then can use a normal base. Just space it out a little so it stays clear of the deck and allows it to still slide.

Could try this.


TYRONSEA deck plate, gyprock wall plugs epoxied into board for fixing, have used existing mast track screw positions on other boards that I've converted with this method.


Is that swirly pattern on the board someone's deck grip efforts ?
