Are you refering to Metts Poids? I thought Toms would be more North Beach? But then again Toms would not be recommended to sail. I sailed there from Metts and got some fun waves on my own but the reef and rocks are super sketchy
donkey hill hey its just down from toms the name comes from the small track up the hill face when you cart you gear up that track you feel like a donkey
we called the track from near the jetty back up to the hwy donkey hill. after you walk up it a few times with sailing gear you can see why! we used to do a coastie and come in on the north side of the jetty, unrig and walk up the hill to a friends house on Castle st.
