This is him windsurfing with his special clip harness lines he calls them. I just found thease while searching for new windsurf vids online

Interesting idea but 180kg is not a very high load, dynamic loadings of the harness lines in a catapult situation for example would be above that in my opinion. You should also consider that the prestretch polyester line used in almost all harness lines has a breaking strain of over 1000kg when new; obviously they break when they are worn...which would be the same with this product, perhaps more so since it's not protected by a plastic tube cover as with harness lines.

Definitely a neat solution though, maybe a bit of dynema or carbon strands etc infused within the plastic/rubber lines would provide a much better product.

Certainly shows great innovation in the way you can adjust you lines very easily, however i'd be a little worried about the clip system in wave sailing. I don't think it would be that hard in a death grip wipe out to rip those clips off the boom.
