$%^#&!

I wanted to check out crazy's today after all the talk on the other threat but then the long drive at vague conditions AND the thefts mentioned in the forum made me go to Lucky Bay. P**** me off that my choice of windsurfing spot is decided by A******* like these

How was it otherwise - Not that I'd be eager to go there now ...
Lucky Bay I had 10min moderate fun, 30min standing around and 20min cold rain ...

Hey Guys sorry to hear about the bad news but Gazza and myself have both posted advice on where to park depending on what day of the week you are there. To help stop getting cars broken into see: www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1962

Dear All

Crazies has a bit of a reputation for this. Reg at WSP had a good idea - every time a car pulls into the Crazies carpark while you're rigging up, pull out a pen and write down their rego. Make a point of what you are doing (ie stand in front of their car while you write it down). If they are fellow sailors with nothing to hide, who would care ? If however they have thieving motives, they might think twice.

It's not the sort of place the general public would go in wet, windy conditions without a reason. If everyone keeps an eye out, eventually they'll get sprung. Hopefully by a fellow sailor, so they get an appropriate penalty, not a slap on the wrist in court........

Might not work every time, but I reckon it's worth a try.

As hard as this might bee.. just sacrafice a sailing day.. get a couple of friends.. and park there. hop out with some bats.. go some where and hide for the day.. when they little ****s that steal your gear come .. jump out and beat them to death.. .. then you have no more problem.. i am sure you can stick there bodies some place.. if now.. just beat the **** out of them.. so they go someplace else.. and take there wallet go to there house and take all there stuff

I like ur thinking curac.

Those buggers have ripped off countless windsurfers over the years and have it coming!!!

Something needs to be done.

sorry to hear the bad news guys. i'de hate to imagine what its like to come out after a sail and find my stuff stolen.

Im with ya CURAC i think setting them up and belting the f#*$ out of them is definately the best idea, I'll help for sure. From what i hear they have been getting away with it for years time after time.
Time to sort them out. No slap on the wrist from the cops is going to stop them

i rekon we get like 10 guys in the back of a van with tinted windows and get 2ppl to go for a sail with the rest waiting with trolley poles to kneecap da C-hunt doin this kinda stuff. If he cant walk he cant steal our s**t can he!
I used to have a link to a site where these british guys who were sick of ppl stealing their motorbikes, so they bait one and wait nearby in a van, then f**k the theivin prick up and get out of there pronto. whats funny these guys hire their services out. they actually destroyed a bike stealing raquet in their area, and now go to other counties to help do the same.
All we need is a van and a few beefcake blokes looking for some revenge.
Anytakers??
i wouldnt mind venting my frustration from not having transport to go sailing in the previous week and for a few weeks to come!

To prevent people breaking into my other car, I removed the door handles and locks and filled them over prior to painting. But still, recently some dumb f*** decided he would smash the window to (presumably) unlock the door, and then realised that even with the interior lock up, he had no handle to open the door. no handle = very confused dumb f*** thief. It all proved too much for him, and he left without getting into the car. I think this suggests that car thieves are not intellectually gifted, and that the only understanding that we common people can communicate to them, is that at the wrong end of curac's lesson. I think it would be more fitting though, if we beat them to a pulp with our masts

I think the tip of an old fiberglass mast shoved forcfully up their ass should be a good deterant. Some old thing thats been in the sun for 5 years, and now you cant go near it without getting glass on you skin.

But the bats are still a good idea!
