well, if you look at the cost of living around Australia someone obviously through "here is a country full of suckers. I am sure some dumbass is going to buy this"

I hate to go against the consensus, but is this a fair price? For someone without the knowledge, or tools, maybe this is a fair price.

To some this might be a ten minute job, but to others this may not be practical to do themselves.

They do need to make a profit too...

Having said that, I wouldn't buy it on principle. A "bolt"? Things must have been done differently back then.

Yeah, granted.
I can sort of see some value as it is the new style thread, but the old size (a bigger square for old school tracks)
However I'd not be surprised if windsurfing shops have them and just can't sell them.
It is one of those things that you'd ring 5 shops and they don't have them, but number 6 says "do you want a kilo of the bloody things for free? take 'em...."
