I guess it couldn't cope with gusts over 80 knots!

Wasn't that bad here. I finally got out on Georges Bay today and even though it was gusty, it was rideable. I'm always amazed that the weather changes so much down here, we are only about 200 odd k's from you and the wind was totally different.

you guys should of came up to port sorell nice flat water and was a nice temp wind was 25 knots

Yep, another good one, but down here we'll be on the bumpy stuff. Looks like I'll be in D'port for christmas, will bring toys.

yes but dave morehead and steve chales are from you way and look what they did ! they were at Mortimer Bay and dave did 37 knots speed !
