Went out today on the lake at Caba, trying to get backwinded... got decked every time. Still got planing though
I'm thinking the wind won't last long, was going to go out on Tweed river instead of the bin, but will check out the alley in the morning. Funny thing is the Southerly change has come in at the seaway for an hour, but hasn't hit cooly yet. Weird eh?
hey neb, got a sail in today at currumbin, big waves, but had my Saber sail complete with torn panel, woops, which I tore up some more! Kind of grabbed the wrong sail bag as I said! Yeah ill do the same, check it out in the morning on webcam, if it looks good Ill head down, otherwise I might hit the front beach at Miami, Ill just play it by ear.
I've has some great sails at Currumbin when I lived on the GC 6 years ago. On the North side of the rock the wind can get patchy, but the down-line wave riding great fun........gotta watch all the surfers tho, which hide on that side to dodge the wind.
