Hi, i just received a waveboard that have had a couple of cracks around the finbox. The previous owner just covered the cracks with some "goo", so there really isn't much to see now. However, my thinking leads me to belive if there are cracks on the outside, the inside i most likely even worse. As i sometimes sail a very shallow beach, where hitting the bottom at some point og another will happen, i am worried of pulling the entire finbox out, causing major damage. Would i be right in this assumption?

I am doing some major repairs on it anyway, should i rebuild the finbox to?
Or maybe convert it into a twinfin? It is a 05 91 Jp RWW, any thoughts on how it would act with twinfins?

yeah i kind of agree with jsnfok. works fine as a single...

but would work well as a twin also. or even a thruster. but easier to get a twin right..

I say. if you repair the single then unless you know what you are doing get it done by someone who knows how those boxes are put in . cause they aren't done like you think.

if you go twin. try to get the slot boxes.. will keep the weight of your board down.
