i have been told i can turn my starboard whopper into a wind surfing board as well, is this true?
something about a screw into the deck or something not sure

yep you should have a deck plate screw in the deck. You can put a universal joint into it. I have the Blast and it is exactly that an absolute blast. Have fun with it
