before i take out a razor and remove a layer or 2 of skin from my palm, what methods have the brains trust used to stop the minuscule fibres of carbon from itching between fingers and palms?

talk powder hands and arms before you start sanding and use a 3m mask and make sure there is a tight seal under your chin

thanks but i actually had a different cause. there were all these dead branches on our palm trees so i taped a saw to a 4.6m carbon 1 piece and off i went. id forgotten this one gave off fibres so small they cant be seen.

get it all the time :(

once you have rinsed well with water to get rid of non imbedded (surface) fibres, then lightly wash with a green scotchbrite kinda scourer. Just enough to scratch...

If still itchy, sand the area with a 80grit ish as it will remove the top layer of skin and thus the fibres (as they don't penetrate far).
Then wash as above.

Single strand carbon fibres with RESIN on them, as a splinter, half an inch deep, different story.

Take the mast to the tip once you are done. That sounds pretty unpleasant.

Try rubbing with a dry bar of soap.

A light coating of wood glue like Aquadhere on your hands, let it dry then peal off and remove the itch
