hello everyone.. just wanted to get some advice on buying second and new sails ..
so the things i have to look out for are the mast size ( which for me its 430)
luff (which is 445) and the boom (which is 180-195) and extension pole..any thing more i need to know..
i have a windsurfer from the 80's as long as the measurement match up should it be ok what year the sail is?
and i also have a 2004 model windsurfer same mast size but the boom extend from 135cm to 195cm can i used that boom on and older mast..

sorry for the silly questions just trying to learn as much as i can about windsurfing and how to set it up in the right way.. any help would be great..

best thing u can do is pop into ur local store,,,

yule gets heaps of advice here, but there you'll be able to see the gear "in the flesh" and everything will make sence ....if u know what i mean....

think ur in perth...

from personal experience, 2nd wind, windforce and windshak are very helpful ..

Have to agree wih that. I am learning and gradually building up some gear. All my sails has been secondhand and came from my local shop. Expect to pay about half the cost of a new sail and if your like me will probably not notice the diferance. The advice I have recieved has been great.
