Clocking up 60+ hours a week doesnt help my windsurfing cause but my motivation is still there.

But I just have had no good oppurtunities to go Sailing in the South west for ages.

I know its work fault. But everytime I get 1/2 a day off there is no wind. Its a conspiracy.

Working 7 days a week sucks especially with no wind when im free.

I AM SOOOOOOO CLOSE TO QUITTING WORKING ALTOGETHER, just to be at one with the wind again.

Sorry in my book Money Vs Windsurfing just doesnt cut it.....Even if I have to sail a tri-fin bombora in 8m swell i think it still beats working for the man all the time.

I just wanna sail everytime the conditions are there.

Can You tell im sad and sick of Working all the time......:(

Windpasser, tis a pain in the horse alright. Hopefully it will get better as the season progresses.

After goons in Parliament get organised and we get the daylight saving, maybe we can work on the moving the weekends to say Tue and Wed. Looks like its a whoooolllllleeee lot better than the crap we have today and tomorrow.

Im trying to get a shift roster happening at work, but my main priority is the weather. I want a job that lets me sail when possible and work as little as possible. DOes that job exist?

Best way I've found (apart from chucking U're job)is to have your dear wife/girlfriend earn a ** load of money and you do the domestic chores, bit like being a sponsored/pro sailor I s'pose
But BEWARE after a epic sess. don't come home, fall asleep with a coldie in your hand, ALWAYS have her dinner ready for her.

Get a suckey government job with a 9-day fortnight. That gives you a half-day roster day each week. Each day check the wind graphs at 12pm, and if it's looking good, tell your boss "See yah in the morning - I'm going sailing!".

(Also helps to be in an occupation that there is a world wide shortage of, so they don't want to upset you.)

Works for me.

Get a job as a Firefighter mate, work 2 days & 2 nights in every 8 days. In other words, work 2 days & sail 6 in every 8 days
