check out this wood version which was built by my sons teacher who gave it to him when he found out he was windsurfing. This board has been beautifully construced with mast track and powerbox fin although very noisy on the water. Would love to see it on show. any ideas?

I bet his teacher is going to be pissed when he finds out he's gone to kiting.
Is it going to find a spot in your trailer Nigel

It's 5 cm too long for the trailer, but I will bring it down to Bowen one day as Gavin would like to have a look at it.

Methinks the deck would be just a tad slippery..........

Pretty good for a hollow wood construction though. Looks like it would actually work OK.

Don't think I want to sell it as I would probably give it back to the builders family when they get older, but I may try to get it to a windsurf shop to put on display so as other people can see the detail that has gone into it.[But I live 1400 km from one].As for plans for it I could try to contact the builder and see if he still has them.

Hey, what a great piece of work, can I ask what timber was involved?
Love the way you bookleafed the stringer. Respect mon.

Just had a check and there's not too many woodworking shows in QLD for a while but the www.timberseek.com.au/html/events.asp - 60k can either direct you or be more helpful.
