I wouldn't presume about those kids in particular, but kids in general, yeah. The Internet generation "I want it now". That's why I don't teach other people's brats, unless the parent give $$ to some NPO. Parents are the first ones to drop out for their children anyways.

Not the idea here. If he decides to get good and do all that stuff, good on him. For now, the fun is that he's doing something healthy, he likes it, and wants to teach his mates.
You know you've won once you can use windsurfing as incentive for homework and stuff...
