Filmed with a a mates DJI Phantom drone at Sandgate yesterday.

25kts NE at Sandgate with 84L Naish Hybrid Wave and Naish Medium Chopper

The drone couldn't go too low or kite lines would swat it out of the sky.

Sandgate is in north brisbane.

Pretty sure there are a few places in Australia called Sandgate, like Sandgate in Newcastle and there is probably a Sandgate in England too.

Impressive that they can handle 25kt winds! That would hurt most RC fliers.

And yah, need to get a bit closer to make the highlight reel, but still very cool.

25kn qld bom wind = ~17 knots real wind, but its a great vid all the same and you can really see the potental of these things
