I like sailing with lots of people, Even kiters. I'm not a wave hog and don't want to keep a perfect session all to just myself. There's plenty of water out there for everyone to use, outside of an organized event you'd be hard pressed to get 20 let alone 200 windsurfers/kiters together at anyone time. I don't know what the kitesurfing community is like but windsurfers are very accepting of new people, on the east coast at least.
What I think is good about the app is if you are traveling you will be able to find spots you didn't know about and even catch up with some locals that might want a sailing partner for the day. You all know what it's like when you go some place new, What's it like?, Is there something I should know about? And will that surfer stab me because I'm on their break

. I think it's a good idea but like everything else in this world, it's not for everyone...it's up to you if you use it.
