Planning a winter break with the wife and kids near Margaret River in late July and want to know of any decent places to freeride sail (not wave-sail) in area.

Sailed Dunsborough in strong NW many years ago which was good, anywhere else worth considering? (maybe Prevally boat ramp in westerly, Gracetown or Hamelin Bay?)

I asked the lady who runs the cafe in Gracetown last year about winter conditions there. Apparently some guys do windsurf there in a NW'erly but i'd say ot would be short run across the bay, and it would be a pretty rocky launch.
Maverick 40 went to Dunsborough last Sat n Sun and you couldn't have wiped the smile of his face with a wire brush!!
