well that's off the top of my head.

probably other stuff floating around in there. basically i salvage all trashed stuff and add it to the kit as spares.

it's surprising how often i help someone out or use the kit myself.

well greenroom, once the son of auto electrician, always got to have the right tool.

mark, mast tip adjuster is for the older style sails, like the norths etc. they had a plastic pin that was held in place with a piece of webbing.

the plastic pin then seated in the top of the mast. some mast brands were too small and others were too big, so i had some different sized pins and some adjusters for the top of the mast.

I've got a spare everything - board, rigs, sails. Got a friend hooked using the spare rig. And I just can't bring myself to sell that RRD (riding an '06 carve now).

Ha, reminds me of the time I drove for 15 minutes, speeds up to 70km/h, with two full rigs on the roof (ie. 2 boards, 2 booms, 2 masts with sails wrapped on) and had NOTHING tying them down at all. My mate and I both thought the other had put the tie-downs on. Damn lucky we didn't kill someone.

Was there anything on your roof when you arrived??? HOW DID THEY STAY THERE!!!

"2 masts with sails wrapped on" - there's your answer. half a ton of old plastic boards sitting on everything.
Back in mid eighties I was going windsurfing on a school afternoon with a teacher, it wasn't until his old kingswood hit 90 odd that the windsurfer OD started doing somersaults in the air - he saw it in his mirror and said "oops". No damage to board at all. "better tie it down this time" he said.
