Believe they were wave sails but Google shows stuff all.
Was wondering if they were a power / onshore wave, or flat setting handling oriented type?

What years were they made?

And even better, does anyone have any of the batten end caps (leech end) that were like a T shape

Thanks Barn
Interestingly the only google result I get is for an '03 for sale somewhere
Maybe very limited run before the S-1 came out?

The cut looks a lot more modern than '03, that's what threw me.

Maybe if KA68 is here they can tell me when they had theirs

You could ask Ben Severne. He's on these forums somewhere.

I don't have a pic but very distinctive compared to others - like a tube to fit the batten end, with a flat black piece on the end forming a T shape about 50mm wide

Thanks too Barn - but I don't think Nazi's would have been offended, maybe the Germans and Jews

Hard to find those batten tensioners.... I ran out about 2 years ago.

Can change it to the new system in about 5min though.

I sailed one of the SS-1's last summer - they feel pretty stiff compared to what we use now!

I have a SS-1 in a 4.2, I reckon it is a great little sail. I must try a new S1.

Thanks Ben - Marco reckons he may be able to sort me out

I'd not change the system as the sail can be obtained for free so not worth spending money on it

Auswind / Flying Objects / Severne are bloody awesome.

They saw my post here, knew what I was on about and posted me 4 of them - within 24hrs to my doorstep.

That is why I use WA companies and why the watersports community is super cool.

Try sending simialr product info request to NP, North or some other big company, you'd be lucky to get a reply.

Thanks a million Marco and mob
