That is RIDICULOUS!!! How about paying me $800 to take it all Oh, and the snow stuff is not much good for WA! Or, maybe we could take up dune skiiing!

I like this line: "for starters or professional" WTF?

Least the link from SB will be getting it plenty of attention!

Yeah, they will see all the visits on the counter and wonder why it's still not sold at the end. I guess a collector would perhaps see some value in itwhat would it be 25 years old maybe more..

It looks like a Wally 1 (fixed centre board, not the advanced technology of the retractable centre board the Wally 2 featured). I couln't find anything on when the retractable centre board was introduced... At least 25 years old It does not have a teak boom, so it is not one of the very first!!!

Here's an exciting link:

Dear grinch and othes I am a 26 year old girl with a spinal cord injury thats why the board wasnt turned over so thanks for that comment, I bought the board for just over a $1000 a yr and a half ago from a windsurfer probably like yourself that I trusted I bought is as a gift I had a quote before I put it on ebay for more than what I have on it, really it represents a fraction of the cost of all items advertised, just for the record this item on ebay is items the windsurfer is just one of many many sporting items a pile in fact that are all a part of this deal as I can no longer use any of them because I can barely walk anymore for the lot Ive asked $500 I thought this was fair but thanks for proving that there are no decent aussies in this field of sport who felt like helping out a girl by giving advice if you thought it wasnt worth anything why piss and moan about it for hours on another site why not drop the person a line and help them out that would have been the aussie thing to do

How come I got singled out and bagged by the spinal injury girl?

What are the chances of the same person who is selling this board finding her ebay advert on a windsurfing forum?
I'm buying a lottery ticket today!

DaisyD,
The comma and full stop buttons are right next to the letter 'm' on your keyboard. (If your eyes are still working of course).

If true, That's an extremely tragic injury for you and my empathy goes out to ya.

Out of interest how many visitors did you get... I'm guessing about 400.

BTW no offence intended, but I think if you paid a $1000 for it a year ago then the seller saw you coming from a mile off unfortunately. Reducing the price was a good idea, perhaps sell them individually. Not all windsurfers need skis etc.

What mad you read on SB, did someone message you

use the snows skis as outriggers, it could be a new rad design, I know I have mentioned I am in market for some new kit but that is silly, they do say people will buy anything on ebay but dont fancy his chances some how.

the boards to heavy to turn over, but she had no problem lugging it out to the back yard!!!! What a load- im getting tired of seeing people trying to rip others of when they are trying to get into a new sport. The person who posted that add on eBay should be ashamed.

Lugging it out the back yard caused the spinal injury I think.

Either that or trying to sail with Skis on.

Hey daisyd a windsurfer from this forum would never sell a board like that for that price to anyone and would never claim that a board could suit begginer to profesional.

Dont pull the sympathy cards out and stop trying to rip people off. Look on ebay there are many other boards exactly the same with starting bids of $0, these boards regulary sell for a couple of hundred (they come with the sail too!! of course)maybe try this approach.

At work yesterday I saw the exact same package deal, it was in a skip in Randwick. It included skis, roof racks and an original windsurfer too. There was also an asortment of other junk like matresses, chairs, bricks, etc.. This person was paying to have it all removed!! If only they new about Ebay
