Pod of whales just off No Man's Land at Long Reef/DY doing their thing. Tail slapping and fin waving. Very close in apparently.
Id like to see that.

I sailed at Miami/Nobby's on the gold coast last weekend, was a little ways out, and was stoked to see a whale about 100 metres from me! saw the spout, then a fin, then the tail.
was a total buzz, not sure if anyone on the beach saw it though. mentioned it to a few of the kiters but didn't arouse much interest.
it was just me there on Sunday. where did everyone else end up? kirra?
