its the best option on a mainly westerly-ish forecast.

Head to brizzy on the m1, take the beenliegh/redland bay exit, head east, at the mt.cotton road intersection turn left and head north. Stay on this road for a long time (windy & boring), go straight through lights at Finucane road. Mt Cotton road then becomes Allenby road which will now gradually swing to the east (to the right). Stay on this till you get to the second roundabout (quite big) and then turn left and head north. Stay on this road until you car runs into salt water still another several kays to go and u still need to go through the wello township but keep heading straight ahead

On a westerly everyone parks on the left as you drive down the hill and enter the reserve. Park as close to the kids playground as you can. If it is windy try and park with nose pointing towards wind otherwise u end up with a car full of sand like i did last time.
